Abstract

Polyphenolic composition (flavonoids and phenolic acids and aldehydes, mainly) of Eucalyptus camaldulensis, E. globulus y E. rudis is studied in the Et2O soluble fractions of the methanolic extracts of their wood, bark, and leaves. The numerical analysis has allowed to distinguish the groups of componentes which make distinction of species for each tissue and organ from those which are not good chemotaxonomical markers. The best markers were found to be phenolic acids and aldehydes and some groups of flavonols, present in leaves, and the worst ones, flavanones and ellagitannins.
