Cork thickness variation measured at different height
Abstract
Results of a study on cork thickness variation along the bole of Quercus suber are presented in this paper. A sample of 100 trees of different diameter sizes and bark stripping heights were selected in Southern Spain. Cork thickness measured at certain height doesn't depend on neither diameter size nor bark stripping height. These results are similar to those reported in some other studies carried out in Portugal
