Relation of the germination pollen grains "in vitro" with the temperature and humidity, from two species Fagaceae (Q. rotundifolia Lam. and Q. suber L.)
Abstract
This note study the relations between the germination of pollen grains and the temperature and humidity "in vitro", from two species of the family Fagaceae (Quercus rotundifolia Lam. and Q. suber L.), in a population known [Valle de Matamoros, Badajoz (Spain)]. The results suggestion from the humidity treatments what is necesary a grade of humidity of the 100 p. 100, in the two species from percentage of germination in the pollen grains bigger of 80 p. 100 (Q. rotundifolia r2 = 0,95, p<0,001 and Q. suber r2 = 0,90, p<0,001). In the temperature treatments exist a range of temperature optimum: in Q. rotundifolia is between 23ºC and 30ºC and Q. suber is between 28º C and 32º C. And exist a temperature optimum: in Q. rotundifolia 25º C (81 p. 100 germination percentage) and Q. suber 28º C (84 p. 100 germination percentage).Downloads
