Teucrium oxylepis Font Quer subsp. marianum Ruiz de la Torre & Ruiz del Castillo in Western Sierra Morena
Abstract
This work deals with the finding of a new population of Teucrium oxylepis subsp. marianum in the Sierra de Aguafría (Western Sierra Morena, Southern Badajoz Province). This is an Iberian endemism restricted to the luso-extremadurense chorologic Province, since it has only been reported till the present moment from Eastern Sierra Morena (Jaén) and Eastern Montes de Toledo (Toledo and Ciudad Real). This study offers a description of the physical environment and vegetation of the Sierra de Aguafría together with some information about the ecological and phytosociological features of this population.Downloads
