Abstract

This article establishes and validates a model that allows, with a certain degree of rebility, the potential productivity of fully hidrostatic transmission light forwarders in short wood logging system. This proposal deals with part of the analysis of a high technology, fully mechanized, 1+1, short wood logging system, subject of the Doctoral Thesis "Bases for the utilization of a High Technology Mechanized Logging System" acomplished by Cristina Prades and directed by José Rubio. This model may help as starting point of later studies that provide new data and improve the prediction degree.
